Getting a dove tattoo but don’t know how I want it to look like?
I booked a tattoo appointment for tomorrow night but I am still tryna decide what design I want to get. I know I want to get a dove on my left wrist but not sure what I want it to look like. Here are some pictures of what I want.

I can’t decide which design I like better
Help!

Vanessa answers:
Depends on what size you want…If you want a little one then go for one of the smaller ones. I personally wouldn’t choose a small one..what’s the point? I feel like the bigger one is too plain though so maybe ask the tattooist what more could be done to make it more unique. The one that Jessica Biel had was really cute with the flower in its mouth. Good luck!<3

it is the white image above “the saga of” and it would go on my wrist, and be black. what do you think?

yes i do understand that it is going to be there for the rest of my life!
i know that you must be 18 to get a tattoo, but if a parent goes with you you can get it before. as my friend did this when he was 14.

Vanessa answers:
Every tattoo hurts, but it depends really on the placement of the tattoo and your pain tolerence. The only thing with your design is that if your adding more intricate detail, or if it already has intricate detail, you would be better off getting it abit bigger. You also need to think about the tattoo aging. As you get older, so will the tattoo, and over time will start to alter, (but not greatly). All im saying is that you dont want a tattoo thats mushed in on itself in about 30 years. Tattoos generally hurt more on bone than on flesh or muscle, cus its abit more padded lol. The outline usually hurts more than the shading. But again, it really depends on your pain tollerance so i cant really give a definate answer. About your design, always consult the tattoo artist first on designs to make sure it will hold up well, and he will tell you any problems that might occur, and be open to suggestions because tattoo artists really do know their stuff:)

William asks…
Any tattoo artists out there…?
…who would design a tattoo of an abstract treble clef? I’m looking for something I could get tattooed on the inside of my wrist. No larger than 2 inches, preferably not in black but in lighter colors instead. I’m just looking for some ideas… otherwise, suggestions of where I could find images that could work would be great too. Thanks!

Vanessa answers:
I would be more than happy to design you one. Hit me up at rae.fleming@gmail.com, and I will see what I can do for you.

Vanessa answers:
Whatever the minimum price the shop charges is probably how much a tattoo like that will cost. That would be usually around $50-$60.

George asks…
I want a comedy and tragedy masks tattoo, but i dont know where i should get it on my body?
also, i tried looking online for images of the masks to have tattooed on me and i didnt find ne that i liked, so if ne1 could find a design for me that would be awesome! I know that i would not want it on my wrists or hips.
but i want the masks in white not black, i want the classic look of the masks
and i want the masks to look evil-ish or devil-ish and i dont want it to look cartoonish and corny. I really want that classic tragedy-comedic masks that they usually show in theatres
sorry i meant to say i DO NOT want it to look devil-ish or evil-ish, just classic

Vanessa answers:
You should consider the upper arm as placement for your masks. Its easy to show off tattoos there, easy to hide them, and a very painless place to get the tattoo. My upper arm tattoo was NOTHING compared to say my back tattoo or my wrist tattoo.
And if you want a traditional set of masks, don’t settle for anything less. Find a tattoo artist that does realism really well and have him or her be the one to design you the evillish masks. Tell him or her exactly what you just told all of us and you should get a really good tattoo out of the deal.
Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming tattoo.
