any ideas for tattoo designs?

k im 16 years old, maybe wanting to make a career out of being a tattoo artist and im trying to come up with some new tattoo designs and need some help
as well im trying to finish mine for when i want to get one but its a heart and trying to make mine way different then every other person and want it to look wicked at the same time

I’m looking at getting a tattoo on my wrist and i really want something with mum & dad written on it. I care for my parents a lot and was wondering what everyone thought of this design… Although i don’t want it in black lol…

I thought maybe black would be to simple. I want the simple design with maybe a blend of two colours.

I’m open to suggestions of colour blends and added extras.

In reply to the tell your parents you love them, i do but the idea was that i had something on my to sibolise that and for the happier times. lol.

I also forgot to say I’m looking at having Mum on one side and Dad on the other.

Hey everyone;

For my 18th birthday (in Feb.), I’ll be getting a tattoo of a Buddha (preferably Zen Buddha) for my brother who passed away on Dec. 11, 2009.

He always wanted to become a Buddhist and he was on his way, but sadly passed away due to heart failure. He was 21.

So in honor of him I want to get a tattoo of the Buddha or related to it.

But I cant seem to find a website with any designs…

i am considering getting a flesh tunnel in my ear lobe and then tattooing some writingor design around it..

is this possible or is writing to much detail for that area????

-i’m a musician [piano and singing, and i play a little guitar] so musical designs are GOOD!

I already have two nautical stars, one on each wrist, and a big green dinosaur that says rawr! on

Its all got personal meaning. Each of the things represents a certain thing. Its too complicated to go into but i have 2 tattoos already and would like an idea on this one

There isnt a tattoo artist at my tattooist, Only the guys who do them, they wont draw up designs so FU all who said i wouldnt pay cuz i’d quite happily pay someone online to draw something up for me! If it was worth doing and they weren’t gonna fleece me!

help with and original word for a tattoo?

so i am getting a tattoo and its gonna be a small star wit a little design on it and i want to put a word or phrase on it. i want a word that when i look at it, it will remind me that everything will turn out okay and not to worry about anything. kinda like “every cloud has a silver lining” but that is too long.. any ideas?

So i wanna get a sleeve with a sea life kinda theme, i haven’t drawn it up yet so i’ll try and explain it as best as i can.
It starts at my shoulder with a kraken/octopus which will stop at about just before my elbow, then on my forearm im thinking like a guy in one of those old deep sea diving suits who has drowned and there blood coming out in a cloud from his helmet and its all mouldy and rotting, then on my hands a glowing kinda jelly fish with its tendril thingys going down over my fingers, theres also gonna be some other stuff to fill in the blank spots on the final design these are just the main parts of it.

so tell me what you think of it, i’m open to most new ideas.
just dont tell me that tattoos are bad and shouldn’t get them cuz i honestly don’t care.

I wish to print my own TATTOO designs with an inkjet printer, is there someone in North America that sells blank TATTOO making paper? I suppose it would come with the support sheet to contain the adhesive!!

tattoo design help ( mirroring text)?

i thinking about getting a tattoo with ‘everything happens for a reason’ , however i dont just want it in a fancy font the way it is, i want to mirror the design so only i can read it when i look in the mirror. i want to print it off the design so i can see whether i like it before i go and ask to have it done. i found a font i like and i cant figure out how to mirror it. the best way i can describe it is when you write on glass one side, then go to the other and it is written backwards. this is what im hoping to achieve, any ideas on how i can mirror the writing? thanks

Tattoo of my Dogs Paw print combined with a Lotus Flower?

I have a Border Terrier called Maisie who I adore!
I have been planning for sometime to have a tattoo of all her four paws (i will use ink to print onto paper so they are actually her paws!) walking either up my shoulder or round my ankle.
Her Kennel club name is Lady Lotus Flower and im wondering if instead of getting an M for Masie i should try and think up a design with a lotus flower but im not very creative!
Does this sound like a good idea?
I definately want all 4 paws as if she is walking but unsure if i should leave it at that as think the Lotus Flower could be a great personal touch!

i need some help with my tattoo design. i know exactly what I want but I just need some help.
I am pisces and I am using the idea of the symbol with the two fish… but instead of fish i am going to have mermaids. and have it like the “angel” and “devil” theme. to show the 2 sides of my personality. so I just need some help finding some pictures of mermaids. I just turned 18 years old (I’m a male) and I’ve always wanted to get a tattoo of the names of my three sisters who passed away. Their names are all four letters in length, that may help in a tattoo design.

I have decided that I want to do this for sure, so please don’t lecture me on how tattoos are a bad idea; I have thought this through.

I was thinking about listing their names on my left shoulder blade, but that might be too “boring”. Any ideas?
